At Hellerman Baretz Communications (HBC), Molly McLeod executes PR-driven business acquisition strategies to help her clients turn their expertise into new business opportunities. Molly, a former HBC intern, has an impressive understanding of the media and a keen interest in public relations, which allows her to promote clients and secure placements in top-tier national, trade, and legal publications. At HBC, Molly regularly works on media relations campaigns on topics ranging from healthcare to energy and securities litigation, drafts submissions for leading legal award programs, and engineers creative social media solutions for her clients, including the development of a popular antitrust blog.
Prior to joining HBC, Molly worked in the corporate communications department of Viacom, one of the nation's largest media conglomerates, representing the leading entertainment television network Comedy Central. There, she secured extensive media coverage for a range of entertainment programs, crafted PR and business development strategies, and developed creative press angles. Molly also organized a comprehensive media outreach plan for a TV Land red carpet event and television sitcom premiere, which was the highest rated telecast in the network's 14-year history and resulted in expansive national media coverage.
Molly graduated magna cum laude from Boston University's College of Communication, where she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and remains an active alumnus. She is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and the Law Firm Media Professionals.
